Ignition Driver Recruitment is currently recruiting a number of qualified Van drivers, based in Derby to work for one of the UK's fastest-growing home delivery companies.
The role will include delivering furniture to customer homes as part of a two-person team. Most of the furniture is flat-pack, and you will be required to complete around 15 deliveries a day.
Working as a Van Driver:
- Driving a Van vehicle in a two-person crew
- You will initially be paired with an experienced porter
- Delivering flat pack furniture to customer homes
- MHE required - physically demanding role
- Vehicle Maintenance Checks as standard
- Route and delivery paperwork completion
Shift times & working hours for a Van Driver:
- Start times between 06:00 and 07:00
- Shift lengths are usually around 12 hours
- Monday to Sunday working

What do we need from you to be a Van Driver?
- Full UK driving licence with a minimum 12 months experience
- 90 days tacho recorded driving in the last 180 days
- We will accept up to 5 points on your licence, but no CU, IN, AC , BA, LC, UT, TT, CD, DD, DR endorsements
- Digi Tachograph Card & DCPC Card
- Complete CRB check (you must provide this yourself)
