Pertemps Dudley are excited to be working with a leading steel manufacturing company in Dudley, who are seeking a skilled and experienced Turret Setter to join their team on their night shift. Our client are entering a very busy period and are looking for Turret Setters due to growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and prepare turret punch press machines for production runs.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine machine settings.
- Adjust machine settings such as speed, depth, and alignment to ensure accurate and efficient operation.
- Load and unload materials onto the machine, ensuring proper positioning and alignment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Turret Setter or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in setting up and operating turret punch press machines.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Hours of work:
Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am
Rate of pay:
£13.56 per hour
