Senior Transport Planner

£40,000 - £55,000
We have the exciting opportunity for a Senior Transport Planner to join the talented Transport Planning team in Exeter, for a large multi-discipline consultancy working collaboratively with other disciplines in house.
You will be working on and managing a number of diverse, exciting, and complex transport planning projects and will take lead on delivery. Supported by the Directors and Transport team you would deliver market leading consultancy advice.
We are looking someone with knowledge of:
- Transport statements, assessments, and travel plans
- S106, S278 agreements
- Running PICADY/ARCADY’s
- LINSIG modelling for various scenarios
- Junction design
You will be helping support and mentor more junior staff as well as continuing your Project Management and commercial skills.
The role:
You will be:
- Working on and Managing complex Transport Planning Projects
- Taking lead on the development and delivery of the Projects
- Working on the promotion of development sites from Site Identification/acquisition, plus planning applications, submission, and discharge of planning conditions
You would be working alongside the Transport Directors to deliver top of the range Consultancy Advice, liaising and getting a firm understanding of Clients Requirements and to effectively manage resources.
