Our client, a rapidly growing business in Bristol, is actively seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis. This position presents an excellent opportunity for Qualified Accountants (or QBE) with a strong background in financial services who are looking to advance their careers within an organisation that offers numerous benefits.
Part-time candidates will be considered for the right individual.
Responsibilities of the Senior Bookkeeper will include, but will not be limited to:
- Preparation and management of Accounts to Trial Balance
- Compilation and analysis of Profit and Loss statements
- Creation and maintenance of Balance Sheets
- Handling Accruals and Prepayments to ensure proper matching of expenses and revenues
- Calculation and recording of Depreciation
- Management of Foreign Exchange transactions
The successful Senior Bookkeeper will require the following skills and experience:
- Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
- Extensive experience in the financial services sector
- Advanced proficiency in Sage 50
