Main Duties:
Posting receipts accurately on the in-house system.
Conducting daily bank checks to reconcile transactions and ensure accuracy.
Managing the debt collection process efficiently and effectively.
Developing and implementing payment plans when required, in collaboration with clients and tenants.
Day-to-day management of the sales ledger, ensuring completeness and accuracy of records.
Liaising with clients, tenants, and solicitors to address enquiries, resolve issues, and facilitate payment processes.
Collaborating with other members of the property accounts team to streamline processes and ensure smooth operations.
Maintaining effective communication with surveyors to coordinate financial aspects of property transactions.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the commercial property sector but not essential.
Strong proficiency in financial management and accounting principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office suite.
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Salary - £26,000 - £30,000
