Following significant investment into the Intake Team, and Family Support Teams my clients are seeking to add capacity and build resilience and stability. As a Social Worker, you will have a manageable workload, excellent support and time to spend with children and young people.
They are also developing their services to support a bespoke strength-based approach ‘Building on Strengths. This approach recognises the expertise of their children, families and workers, and puts relationships at the heart of everything they do.

Responsibilities of you as a Social Worker:
- Ensure the best outcomes for the children and young people.
- Provide support and protection for children and young people in need and at risk.
- To manage and prioritise the workload, carry out duties using accountable professional judgement.
- To undertake complex and high-risk cases or arrange complex or high value packages of care.
- Support children and young people through robust assessment, outcome focused planning and effective intervention to support them in achieving positive outcomes within their families and communities
- Conduct section 47 enquiries and establish whether longer term plans are needed for families.
Requirements of you as the Social Worker:
- Social Care Wales registration
- A recognised Degree/Diploma or equivalent qualification in Social Work i.e. Degree, DipSW, CQSW etc.
- A full UK driving licence
- DBS clearance
- Authority to work in the UK
Salary: £34,838.00 - £48,421.00 doe + £5000 annual enhancement payment
