Job Title: Production Team Leader
Location: Wolverhampton
Hours of work: 7:30am - 4-00pm (Monday - Thursday) / 7:30am - 15:00pm (Friday)
Pay Rate: £14ph
Company Overview: Our well-established client are an organisation which produces an array of tube-fabricated products for various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Able to lead the team to ensure seamless collaboration across all sections of production.
- Promptly raise any issues that may affect delivery dates, allowing for timely corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure the team adheres to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to establish daily output targets and delivery schedules, ensuring compliance.
- Manage resource allocation between sections to meet delivery deadlines effectively.
- Take ownership of factory efficiency key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Knowledge of manufacturing machinery.
- Generate work to alleviate bottlenecks in the production process.
- Provide coaching to team members to promote best practices.
- Utilise data insights to make informed decisions in partnership with the Production Manager.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings to ensure production team has necessary information.
- Coordinate with transportation for daily dispatches and collections.
- Hold final authority on quality-related matters within production, making decisions in conjunction with the Production Manager.
