Permanent, full time Production Operatives required at a busy and fast paced site in Henstridge, BA8
- 3 different shift options
- Monday - Friday, 06:00 - 14:00 - £23,800 per annum
- Monday - Friday, 14:00 - 22:00 - £27,352 per annum
- Monday - Friday, 22:00 - 06:00 - £30,929 per annum
- Salary review after probation period
- Own transport is needed as public transport is not an option to get to the site
- 20 minutes commute by car from Wincanton, Shaftsbury, Mere, Gillingham, Sherborne
- Breaks paid!
- Overtime available at time and a half
- No weekend working

About the job
- Lots of large machinery tools to be trained on
- Collating orders, including banding, palletising, bagging and preparing them for loading.
- Loading, off Loading of plate and parts from the plasma machines
- Processing customer orders to specifications using a selection of manual machinery
- Operate a selection of manual and CNC based machinery for metal processing.
- Operate forklifts, combi-lifts and the crane
The right candidate
- Previous experience with machinery - machine operator, production operative etc
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable in a role that involves heavy lifting
- Be competent at reading drawings and following verbal instructions
