Pertemps Milton Keynes branch are currently recruiting for a powder coater for our client based in Milton Keynes.
Do you have previous powder coating/paint spraying experience? Do you come from a construction/DIY background?
Shift: Monday to Friday
Pay: £12.00ph
Job Description:
Your will be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal surfaces using the powder coating process. The ideal candidate should have experience with powder coating equipment, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
- Prepare and clean metal surfaces for powder coating.
- Set up and operate powder coating equipment.
- Apply powder coating to metal surfaces evenly and efficiently.
- Ensure the proper curing of the powder-coated finish.
- Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the powder coating process.
- Maintain and clean powder coating equipment and work area.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Powder Coater or similar role.
- Familiarity with various powder coating techniques and equipment.
- Ability to interpret and follow product specifications.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices.
