Job Title: Class One Driver
Location: Penrith
Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver seeking stability on a long standing contract? Join our team for a fantastic opportunity in Penrith! We're looking for skilled drivers to handle night trunks going south and day work that goes north as part of our clients operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate Class One vehicles for night trunks and day work routes
Ensure timely and efficient deliveries
Adhere strictly to driving regulations and company policies
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct routine checks
Requirements:
Valid Class One driver's licence ( 2 years relevant experience due to insurance requirements )
Proven experience in long-haul driving
Strong adherence to safety protocols
Excellent driving record
Flexibility in working various start times and shift patterns
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What We Offer:
Long-standing contract with a reputable company
Rates of pay - Monday to Friday £14.72 per hour, Saturday £15.58 per hour, Sunday £16.77 per hour
