Are you someone who excels at handling incoming goods with precision and ensuring their seamless storage? If so, we have an exciting opening for a Goods In Operative to join our clients team.
What is the job?
As the Goods in Operative, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and accurate receipt of goods into our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:
- Unloading incoming goods using a Forklift.
- Putting stock away.
- Data entry of goods received.
- Labelling received goods appropriately.
- Conducting quality checks on incoming goods to ensure they meet our standards.
- Managing inventory accuracy and conducting regular stock counts.
- Implementing and optimising warehouse processes to improve efficiency.
- Picking stock products and delivering to various departments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in goods receiving and storage operations.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
- Valid FLT Counterbalance license.
