Field service engineer required for a manufacturer and supplier of compressed air systems and pneumatics based in central Bristol – BS1.
- Permanent, full time role
- £30,000 - £42,000 per annum DOE, plus call out rate
- 40 working hours per week – paid door to door
- Overtime paid after 40hrs
- 23 days holiday per annum, plus bank holidays
About the role
- Travelling primarily within the South West but sometimes to other parts of the country
- Effectively diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on customer equipment
- Undertake planned and preventative maintenance on compressors and a range of ancillary equipment and compressed air systems
- Perform emergency breakdown faultfinding and repair
- Install and commission compressors and compressed air systems, aluminium and steel pipework
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as risk assessments, method statements, service reports, timesheets or job sheets
The right candidate
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Willing to undertake occasional overnight stays when traveling for work, as required
- Excellent communication / customer service skills
- IT literate
- Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience
- Previous experience in a field-based service role
- Previous experience of working with compressed air equipment
