Summary of Role:

As a Dray Operative your primary responsibility will be the secure loading and unloading of vehicles. Operating within a customer-centric setting, you will consistently uphold a professional and courteous demeanour. Thoroughly inspecting goods upon delivery for accuracy will be essential. Additionally, safe manual handling of various materials and components is a key aspect of the role. Adhering to legislative, company, and departmental protocols, particularly in relation to health and safety, is paramount. Collaborating with team members to enhance efficiencies and meet key performance indicators (KPIs) will also be expected.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely load and unload vehicles, ensuring the security of transported items.

- Maintain a customer-focused approach, consistently displaying professionalism and courtesy.

- Conduct accurate and meticulous inspections of delivered goods to verify their correctness.

- Handle materials and components with safety as a priority, utilizing proper manual techniques.

- Follow all relevant legislative, company, and departmental procedures, including those related to health and safety.

- Support fellow team members in their efforts to achieve efficiency goals and meet KPI targets.

- Excel in providing high-quality customer service within a dynamic multi-drop environment.

- Possess physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

- Exhibit self-motivation, while remaining approachable, friendly, and dependable.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Prior experience in a similar role preferred.

- Proficient in safe loading, unloading, and manual handling techniques.
