Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the cleaning operations within a food manufacturing facility. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards to meet regulatory requirements and uphold company's quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of production areas, equipment, and facilities.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Train and mentor cleaning team members on proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleaning standards and address any deficiencies promptly.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper usage.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning activities around production schedules.
- Report and escalate issues or concerns related to cleaning and hygiene to management.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities, inspections, and staff performance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor or similar role, preferably within a food manufacturing or related industry.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation standards, and health and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and train a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work shifts and weekends as needed.
