The Opportunity

You’ll be a part of a hugely expanding business with branches opening across the country in an executive level. With this ever-growing company, professional development is second to none and managerial opportunity is on the horizon, you’ll be starting this role as a point of contact for the Account Assistants, guiding them to success and developing later into a potential branch manager position.

 

The Role

The purpose of the role is to build a successful client base, providing insurance quotations and solutions for problems they may face; you’ll be calculating accurate premiums along with presenting comprehensive product information. You'll be responsible for ensuring that every client interaction is characterised by efficiency, driving cost reductions throughout the company.

Moreover, you'll serve as a referral point within the branch, ensuring that all queries and complaints are addressed promptly and professionally. Upholding compliance and legal standards will be paramount, as you navigate the complexities of insurance principles and contracts with precision and expertise.

 

The Ideal Candidate

As an ideal candidate for this role, you’ll have an outgoing personality, with the ability to communicate efficiently with both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll possess a thorough understanding of the UK insurance market, including its trends, risks, and regulatory requirements. Whilst also having a commercial mind, good judgement and self-motivation.

Additionally, an ideal candidate can demonstrate the ability to digest diverse client needs and industry-specific risks while managing time effectively and working well under pressure to meet deadlines.

Further to the above, you will have:

- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

- An analytical mindset for problem-solving within the realm of insurance

- Keen attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

- A minimum of two years' experience in commercial insurance
