A fantastic opportunity is available for a Financial Controller to join a Manufacturing business in Birmingham on a temporary to permanent basis
The company specialise in the design and supply of integrated safety, control and automation systems for hazardous industrial environments
The role and responsibilities
•Working closely with the Management Team and the board of directors to manage the commercial aspects of the business and help shape the future direction of the business.
•You will work as an internal commercial partner to sales, project management and engineering teams to support discussions around terms of conditions, project financial performance, compensation events and other similar topics.
•Costing and pricing system development and maintenance.
•Development of the procurement function and capability including subcontracting arrangements.
•Commercial insurances and performance bonding reviews and agreements.
•Create a management dashboard using the business system to allow senior members of the business to have a snapshot of key deliverable's
•Proactively track stock allowing complete visibility and highlighting legacy items that are non-moving
•Produce financial reports that are meaningful and allow decisions to be based on the data provided
To be considered for this role you must have experience of working as a Financial Controller/ Manager within the Manufacturing industry
-The ideal candidate will be experienced in the operational duties of a Financial controller within the Manufacturing sector
-Qualification in Accounting and Finance/ ACCA/CIMA
-Understanding of financial regulations and risk management
-Previous experience of improving Accounting processes and reporting
-Excellent organisational skills
