A permanent vacancy has become available for a Design Manager in Cornwall with a housing contractor. You will be joining a reputable construction business that is recruiting in order to expand the team.
The focus for this role will be; to manage the design process, overview, monitor and report on design programmes, be key within the tendering process. You will liaise with external contacts, consultants and architects to effectively manage the design process to minimise design issues and risks.

Experience needed:
- Essential to have a background in House Building for either a developer or contractor
- Consultancy management
- Strong overall design experience and be confident in the reviewing and interrogation of enquiry stage in order to minimise risk and design issues
- Strong organisation skills and ability to coordinate task and consultants
