My client is a global supply chain leader providing smart, sustainable solutions across 18 countries, is seeking a HR Advisor to join their team. This full-time role, based in Coventry, entails a 12-month fixed term contract. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday, totalling 37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility required. The salary ranges from £25,000 to £30,000.

The HR Advisor will provide quality HR advice and support to the site’s management team and employees, ensuring the consistent and effective application of HR policies, procedures, and practices under the guidance of the HR Manager. Responsibilities include:

- Providing confidential advice, support, and guidance to managers and employees in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.

- Taking ownership and responsibility for the case management of all Employment Relations and Family Friendly cases, ensuring proper documentation and action tracking.

- Serving as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries from the site.

- Representing the HR team at local site meetings and ensuring timely completion of HR actions.

- Providing/collating HR data or information for reporting, analysis, and action planning.

- Assisting the HR Manager with ad hoc HR project work and administering corporate-driven HR projects.

- Administering actions and processes to maintain SWA compliance.

- Providing HR support to the management team with change management initiatives.

- Coordinating and assisting with recruitment and selection activities.

- Working collaboratively with the HR Administrator and managers to ensure transactional HR processes are completed accurately.

- Organizing and assisting with the delivery of training and development activities.

- Assisting managers with absence management and attending long-term sick absence review meetings.

- Supporting, advising, and coaching managers in relation to employee performance and capability issues.

- Collaborating with the wider HR team to share knowledge, expertise, and best practices.

- Maintaining and updating employee records and files, both manual and electronic.

- Carrying out general administration duties as required.

Qualifications include being CIPD qualified or part CIPD qualified, or possessing an equivalent level of experience. Previous HR advisory experience or advisory experience obtained in a similar role is essential, with proven experience of providing HR advice and guidance in line with company policies, procedures, and legislation being advantageous.
