Ignition Driver Recruitment is looking for Class 2 Drivers in Macclesfield, to work for a leading local logistics & haulage company.
Before you apply for this role, you must be able to answer YES to all the questions below:
- Do you have your Class 2 Driving Licence?
- Do you have at least 12 months experience driving a Class 2 vehicle?
- Do you have an up-to-date Tacho Digi Card and an up-to-date DCPC Card?
We will accept up to 6 points on your licence, but no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
HGV Class 2 Driver - Role & Responsibilities:
As we have mentioned above, our client is a leading logistics & haulage company. This means that as a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for:
- Driving a fully branded Class 2 vehicle
- Multi-drop deliveries (up to 18 a day)
- Using an electric pump truck
- Required to keep up to date with the required pre & post-shift vehicle checks
- Expected to maintain your Driver hours in accordance with Working Time Regulations
Our client is looking for diligent drivers, who are aware of their environmental responsibility with regards fuel efficiency and you will endeavour to control/monitor your own fuel efficiency.
Class 2 Driver - Working Hours:
- Immediate starts
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends required
- Start times from 08:00
