Carpenter - Fire Safety
Responsibilities
- Fitting new fire doors , repair frames and upgrading existing doors
- Fitting electrical enclosures
- Ensuring all installation, repair and refurbish work meets fire safety and other regulations
- Installing fire related plaster board
- Fire Stopping Works
Requirements
- Experience in fire door Inspections and Assessments
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WORKING IN HOUSING ASSOCIATIONS OR COUNCILS IS ESSENTIAL
- Understand fire door components
- Must have full UK driving licence will be issued van
- Excellent carpentry skills, with evidence of trade specific qualifications (NVQ level 3 Carpentry or equivalent).
- Good Knowledge Of British Standards
- Good standard of record keeping and minor administration
Contract
- Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend
- PAYE via Umbrella
- Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
